The most magnificent packages showed up on my door the other day — 3 fabulous flavors of Good Greens Bars!
It just takes one a moment to flip through their press page on their website to realize how amazing these things are! Glamour Magazine raves…
“They’re 50 calories and filled with stuff like dairy free dark chocolate, wheatgrass juice, green tea extract, acai berry, and (of course) raspberries—but taste kind of like mini berry brownies.”

The Chocolate Raspberry are pretty tasty - but in my mind the Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Chocolate Coconut take the cake! So tasty and only 50 calories.
Um, and did I mention — 100% of your daily fruit and veggies! How great is that!
We are so happy to have Good Greens on board with us for the race and so excited that everyone will be receiving a sample in their goodie bags!

They have the right nutrition elements and are even vegan, gluten free, low sugar, organic — and full of antioxidants and probiotics!
Once you try them — you’ll be converted!

About Honest Tea
Honest Tea seeks to create and promote great-tasting, truly healthy, organic beverages. We strive to grow our business with the same honesty and integrity we use to craft our products, with sustainability great taste for all.

And most of all we love their stance on corporate responsibility…
We will never claim to be a perfect company, but we will address difficult issues and strive to be honest about our ability or inability to resolve them. We will strive to work with our suppliers to promote higher standards. We value diversity in the workplace and intend to become a visible presence in the communities where our products are sold. When presented with a purchasing decision between two financially comparable alternatives, we will attempt to choose the option that better addresses the needs of economically disadvantaged communities.
A commitment to social responsibility is central to Honest Tea’s identity and purpose. The company strives for authenticity, integrity and purity, in our products and in the way we do business. In addition to creating a healthy alternative beverage with a lot less sugar than most bottled drinks, Honest Tea seeks to create honest relationships with our employees, suppliers, customers and with the communities in which we do business.

As part of a multicenter clinical trial, surgical oncologists at UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center are comparing the effectiveness of standard chemotherapy to a tri-modality approach to halt advanced colon cancers. The objective is to determine if there is a difference in survival rates between patients who receive intravenous (IV) anti-cancer drugs or a combination of IV drugs in addition to surgery and a procedure called hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, more commonly known as HIPEC or “chemobath.” (More)

Just found out we got a sponsorship with product from the one and only…
Which is great for so so so so many reasons! Lip balm is a must for me - I am cursed to have been born with dry eyes, dry skin, and you guessed it - dry lips. I know you may be thinking “Geez woman, just drink some water!” its not always that easy. Long story short, I’m never thirsty and well, just plain forgetful sometimes.
But, thank goodness, I always carry a purse full of lip balms to prevent me from looking like I’ve been wandering in the dessert for days.
My personal favorite is Blistex Sleek & Shine… well because it makes my lips sleek and shiny… and because it tastes / smells like sweet tart candies. yum!
Oh and another thing… A FANTASTIC THING… Blistex is making a point to initiate green and sustainable business practices! And to be honest, as a consumer this is one of the most paramount criteria for when I purchase products. So I am so happy to have the Blistex team involved in the race!
Thank you so much from the Boston GYRIG squad!
