The South End & Southie have been tagged. The big day is only 3 weeks away! It made my day today that as we were putting up signs on Castle Island, someone approached me saying how they had registered for the race and were so excited for the run!

The most magnificent packages showed up on my door the other day — 3 fabulous flavors of Good Greens Bars!
It just takes one a moment to flip through their press page on their website to realize how amazing these things are! Glamour Magazine raves…
“They’re 50 calories and filled with stuff like dairy free dark chocolate, wheatgrass juice, green tea extract, acai berry, and (of course) raspberries—but taste kind of like mini berry brownies.”

The Chocolate Raspberry are pretty tasty - but in my mind the Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Chocolate Coconut take the cake! So tasty and only 50 calories.
Um, and did I mention — 100% of your daily fruit and veggies! How great is that!
We are so happy to have Good Greens on board with us for the race and so excited that everyone will be receiving a sample in their goodie bags!

They have the right nutrition elements and are even vegan, gluten free, low sugar, organic — and full of antioxidants and probiotics!
Once you try them — you’ll be converted!

I am so excited to announce that Emergen-C has given us (and I quote) “a great big fizzy yes!” to sponsoring the 2012 Boston Get Your Rear in Gear 5K …

They will be providing us with packets for our goodie bags this year! We are hoping for a sunny beautiful day to run, but if the weather says otherwise, we can just drink a packet of this stuff and be ready to take on the day no matter what!

Emergen-C comes in a bunch of great flavors — Acai Berry being my favorite way to take down my antioxidants, electrolytes and vitamins. And also — did you know, that by drinking your vitamins, they are more easily able to be absorbed into your body! In a pill version of a supplement, almost 80% ends up not being absorbed.
So be smart and be healthy — and grab some Emergen-C!
