Have you lost a loved one to colon cancer?
A major part of the healing process for me was sharing my story. Something about organizing your thoughts and feelings in writing (at least for me) has a way of freeing you and allowing you to move forward.
For so long I just wanted to find a mountain somewhere, get to the top of it and yell “It’s just not fair! It’s just not right! Do you know who you took from me! Do you know how important they were!” Although it doesn’t change what happens it feels good to be heard and to know that you are not alone.
You can fight this disease by telling the world not to forget your loved one and to take care of the ones they love with early screenings and other preventative practices.
Are you a colon cancer survivor?
Nothing is more inspirational than to know that there is still hope in beating this disease. If you have conquered your battle with colon cancer, I encourage you to spread the news!
For those fighting the disease currently, hearing success stories and words of encouragement can make all the difference!
